A little bit more, about me
I always loved planning events, for friends and family, and never thought that I could ever achieve the confidence to go as far as starting my own business. While obtaining my Bachelors of Science (Honours) and my Business Administration Certificate (Sports Admin.) at York University, I applied for the position of Programs Chair with Bethune College Council. I was able to successfully hold this position from 2005 until 2008. Having 4 years of experience of planning small (20 people) and large (350 people) scale events adds to my competence in event organization and planning. After graduation, I decided to get my Masters of Science at D’Youville College and put event planning on hold. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining a Post-Graduate Certificate: Wedding Consultant and Coordinator with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. This certificate will encompass all aspects of event planning, which will lead me to further my career. This certificate is merely icing on the cake and a formality that all wedding planners must go through. I can safely say that this certificate will amplify my wedding and event planning dexterity and turn Event Stylings into a well recognized profession.
